Singer, actress, podcaster, and mother, Jana Kramer, recently became You Tube's newest vlogger. Many were expecting Jana's videos to show off her fabulous LA lifestyle, but she had a different idea in mind. Jana decided to make her channel open, raw, and extremely real by documenting all the aspects of her life, including the bad times. In a recent video, she opens up about the struggles that her and her husband, Mike Caussin, have had in trying to have a baby.
The couple has been trying to have a baby for quite some time and the process has been anything but easy. After 3 miscarriages and a whole lot of heartbreak, the couple never gave up. Jana opens up about her miscarriages saying through her tears that, "I debated even saying anything. But, I think that is the problem with miscarriage because it's not talked about and it should be."
After her miscarriage, she and her husband decided to try IVF for the second time. She talks about her hormonal breakouts, supplements she's taking, and other side-effects that many people aren't talking about. Jana even documents the injection process and what it's like. She and Mike keep up high spirits by laughing and joking with each other throughout the entire journey. During the second round of IVF, Jana got pregnant. Unfortunately, there was a chemical loss resulting in a failed pregnancy.
Jana is open and honest about the process saying through her tears that, "this is real life." The heartbreaking video shows the ups and downs of her entire journey from an extremely raw perspective. Jana sugarcoats nothing and truly wants to be real with the women who are going through the same thing.
However, the story has a happy ending! Post IVF, Jana got pregnant and is now due in November. She talks about her pregnancy and what lead to it in the video. Jana and Mike could not be more excited to bring another baby into this world and we are happily supporting them on their journey!
