When Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in her beautiful custom Alexander McQueen wedding dress, the world couldn’t help but stop and stare. It was a huge fashion moment for brides-to-be around the world, and the details of her gown — the lace, long sleeves, full skirt, and dramatic train — quickly became highly coveted in the bridal market. Princess Sofia of Sweden wore an Ida Sjöstedt gown to her 2015 wedding, which looked like a close relative to the one Kate wore on her big day.

Italian heiress Beatrice Borromeo wore a high neck, long-sleeved Armani gown for her wedding to Grace Kelly’s grandson.
