Big News From The Sister Wives Family! The Browns Are Leaving Vegas

The Brown Family from TLC's "Sister Wives" are moving. See where they're headed next!

August 03, 2018

Someone call a moving van! The Brown family is leaving Las Vegas, Nevada and moving to Flagstaff, Arizona.

"As much as we've loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, AZ!" say the Browns. "We are looking forward to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views, and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff."

Sister Wives fans may remember when the family moved to Las Vegas in 2011. Back then, fearing prosecution for their polygamous lifestyle, the family packed and moved in only three days, leaving Utah for Las Vegas in the dead of night.

Last season on Sister Wives the family reflected on their 2011 move, as they faced the decision to risk arrest and return to Utah for a polygamist family rally.

"Going back into [Utah] I felt like had to put back on this persona." remembers Janelle. "...I felt like I needed to be small again, I need to hold back, I need to toe the line. It was a very hard, emotional thing for me, to go back."

And life in Vegas has been busy for the Browns, as their adult children have grown and begun families of their own! Maddie and Caleb wed in 2016 and welcomed the Browns' first grandchild last year. Logan became engaged, while Mykelti and Aspyn have both recently tied the knot. And last season we saw Meri and Mariah's bond grow when the two attended the Women's March with Janelle and Mariah's girlfriend Audrey.

Now it's on to the next adventure! Best wishes to the Browns on this exciting new chapter.

Sister Wives will return to TLC early next year, and you can catch up on all seasons of Sister Wives by downloading the TLC GO app or visiting TLC.com/SisterWives.
