Jessica Simpson Shared First Photos of Her Adorable Daughter, Birdie Mae

Little Birdie Mae was all dressed up for her first Instagram appearance.

Jessica Simpson showed off her party of five by introducing her newborn daughter, Birdie Mae, to the world. The mom-of-three took to Instagram over the weekend to share pictures of her family all dressed up for Easter – and to give us a few close-up snaps of the newest addition to her family.

“Happy Easter from the Johnson family,” the singer and clothing designer captioned the photo.

Birdie Mae, who was born on March 19, seems to have slept though her first Easter celebration, but she sure did look lovely in a floral dress that matched her older sister, Maxwell’s.

Also, can we please talk about Birdie’s adorable chubby cheeks? The precious girl was born weighing 10 pounds and 13 ounces, so she clearly had a head start on growing those adorable cheeks.

Back in September, Simpson surprised fans by announcing her pregnancy and posting a gender reveal photo of Maxwell and her son, Ace, releasing pink balloons into the air.

Throughout her pregnancy, Simpson kept it very real about what it’s like for moms-to-be. From the ups — like her elaborate baby shower where she gave fans hints that Birdie would be her baby’s moniker – and the downs— like Simpson’s painful foot and ankle swelling, and how hard it can be for pregnant women to bounce back after getting sick.

Through it all, Simpson kept her sense of humor and can now bask in the newborn sweetness of her girl. Even though she is still dealing with lots of sleepless nights, we hope Simpson continues to post pictures of Birdie as she grows.
