On the last season of I Am Jazz, we followed Jazz Jennings on her journey toward her dream of gender confirmation surgery. On Tuesday, June 26th, her dream became a reality. Before her surgery, Jazz took a moment to record her thoughts on that life-changing day. Take a look at the video above.

In it, Jazz explains, "I feel like this is really the final step in my transition. After this, I will finally become the woman I always have been, and it's like the final validation of who I am as a female." She also thanks her fans for all their love and support, saying "You all have motivated me to continue this journey of sharing my story!"

Her fans and community were still on her mind post-surgery, and after two days Jazz posted a quick update to let everyone know that she was doing great!

We wish Jazz a swift recovery and are thrilled to see her in great spirits! For more Jazz, you can check out her YouTube channel here, or relive her journey to confirmation surgery with full episodes of I Am Jazz on TLC GO.
