Joanna Gaines Posted the Cutest Throwback in Honor of Her Wedding Anniversary

While the traditional anniversary gift for 15 years of marriage is crystal, we also love a good throwback photo too. Especially when it's one of our favorite couples, Chip and Joanna Gaines, who recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. Rather than sharing grand gestures online, the power couple posted short and sweet messages to each other on social media that have made the internet collectively say "Awwwwwww."
On her Instagram, Joanna posted a black-and-white photo of the pair from their wedding day. The soon-to-be parents of five look blissfully happy as they ride off in a car decorated with a "Just Married" sign and Chip plants a smooch on his bride's cheek. Joanna captioned the photo "It's been a good fifteen years @chipgaines Here's to fifty more..." How cute are these two? Also, they look like babies! According to Joanna, the couple wed at the Earle-Harrison House in 2003 and honeymooned in New York.
Chip took to Twitter to share a sweet note to his bride, writing "15 years.. where'd they go; 15 years.. I'd like to know; 15 more, to God I pray; 15 more just to make her day. Happy anniversary sweet girl!"
The couple, who first met back in 2001, now share everything from their hit HGTV show Fixer Upper, to their four children -- Drake, 13, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 8. The newest member of the Gaines family, a baby boy, will be born this summer.
Chip and Joanna often share sweet messages of encouragement to one another on their social media, and these anniversary posts are exactly what fans of the couple have come to expect.
