Sarper's Too Handsome for a Visa

Sarper went for his visa interview and came out looking disappointed. He told Shekinah that his K-1 visa was not approved and she was immediately distraught. Then, Sarper told her, "They said it will be unfair to let you in, for American guys... Because you are too handsome."

The couple had a good laugh at Sarper's prank and celebrated, ready for their new life together in America.

Juan Meets His Son

After flying from Colombia to the United States, Juan was greeted by his fiance, Jessica, and her sons, Dayton and Dawson. They all had an emotional reunion and Juan finally got to hold his and Jessica's son, David, in his arms. It was such a sweet welcome to the states.

Mark & Mina's Flight Home

Mark, a pilot, wanted to fly his fiance, Mina, and their daughter, Maria, home for the first time. It was a rush and the couple followed their flight with a tour of the house. Mina, who was from Paris, France, wasn't pleased with some aspects of the home — like the family photos with Mark's ex-wife. She wasn't sure she wanted to live there, but agreed to give their New Hampshire home a fair shot.

Greg Greets Joan with Bread

Joan flew from Uganda to America to be with her fiance, Greg. Greg excitedly greeted her with a loaf of bread that had "Joan" carved into it. A wholesome gesture from the aspiring bakery owner. Although they were thrilled to be reunited, Joan worried that living with Greg's mom, Lucille, would cause some tension.

Mahdi's Culture Shock

When Mahdi chose to fly to the states from Iran to be with his fiance, Stevi, it was a big risk. There was a possibility that he wouldn't be able to return to Iran to see his family. That possibilty worried Mahdi and he expressed his concern to Stevi. Once the dust settled from that conversation, the couple explored New Orleans, Louisiana. Mahdi was hit with a dose of culture shock. From the America food (he loved the beignets) and risque store displays to unreal looking street performers, Mahdi was stunned by it all.

Amani & Matt Visit Any in Mexico

Amani and Matt opened their marriage and began dating their third, Any, who lived in Mexico. Amani and Matt traveled to Tijuana to visit Any and this trip was important because it would confirm whether or not they were going to move forward with the K-1 visa process In order for Any to come to America on this visa, Amani and Matt would have to legally divorce first. So of course, they needed to make sure they were making the right decision.

Alliya's Coming to America

Alliya was concerned that her name change would affect her visa validity. Although she was ready to fly to America to live in California with her fiance, Shawn, she had one last thing to take care of. She visited the embassy and she was approved with her name change intact!

Shekinah & Sarper Arrive in the U.S.

Sarper was heartbroken to leave his parents and other family members in Turkey. He felt torn whether he should leave or not. Eventually, Sarper and his loved ones shared a tearful goodbye, and he flew to America with Shekinah. It was a rough flight, but Sarper was ready to start a new chapter with his fiance.

Juan's Cruise Confession

During a night out, Jessica's best friend, Megin, confronted Juan about what happened on his cruise. Juan revealed that he slept with someone else and Megin was floored and became emotional. However, Jessica and Juan had already spoken about the situation and decided to move past it a long time ago. It was a very tense "meeting the friends" evening for Juan.

Any's Steamy Revelation

During a hot tub sesh, Any revealed that she and Matt had been intimate without Amani. Matt explained that he and Any both tried to initiate with Amani, but she rejected them. So, Matt and Any carried on without her. Amani was livid, but thanked Any for being honest with her. Can't say the same for Matt.

Mahdi Meets Stevi's Family

According to Stevi, her dad, Perry, was an all-American man and she worried that would create a rift between him and Mahdi. She brought Mahdi to meet her family and they discussed cultural differences between America and Iran as well as the couple's relationship. Perry shared that he only recently found out about the relationship and shared his concerns about the quick 90-day process. Mahdi was nervous, but assured the family that he and Stevi were truly in love. In the end, the first meeting went well!

Mina & Jordan Butt Heads

Mark's daughter from a previous marriage, Jordan, wasn't quiet about her concerns after Mina arrived in America. Jordan already had a rocky relationship with Mina because Mina was late to a family event in Paris and kept the family waiting. She didn't feel like Mina was interested in getting to know her. Additionally, Jordan didn't think that Mark and Mina should have another child and wanted her father to have a prenup before the wedding. Mina was visibly upset with Jordan's views.

Mina defended herself and felt that Jordan was being too controlling of her father. She called Jordan "a snake" and told her not to attend the wedding.

Alliya & Shawn Reunite

Alliya flew from Brazil to America, where Shawn was waiting for her. 4 years of dating brought them to this point.

Stevi Questions Mahdi's Intentions

During Mahdi's first meeting with Stevi's family, Stevi had a side conversation with her dad's girlfriend, Wendy. She told Wendy about Mahdi's homesickness and that he asked, "What if I want to go back?" Mahdi was upset that Stevi brought up what he told her and said he missed his parents even more than his first day in the states.

Before Mahdi came, he considered staying in America if things didn't work out between them — and this definitely caught Stevi by surprise. She wondered if his motives were genuine.

Trust Issue Are a Beach

Sarper was getting used to his new scenery and had a true "Baywatch" moment, running across the beach in red swim trunks. He and Shekinah had a conversation about trust and how Sarper's past affected Shekinah's decisions now that they were living together in America. Sarper wanted to visit the beach while Shekinah worked, but she suggested he get aquainted with her neighborhood as a first step instead.

Greg's Friends Take Joan's Side

Greg took Joan out to a seaside restaurant to meet his friends, Jon and John. The group discussed high school memories and living at home with Greg's mom. Joan didn't have any complaints, but she did want her and Greg to have their own place within a few months. Jon and John asked Greg what his plan was and questioned if his dream of opening a bakery was worth not having their own home. They thought he should get a steady union job and make Joan happy.

Relationship Rules

Any, Matt, and Amani decided to set some boundaries and came up with rules for their throuple. Any suggested, "Nobody goes to sleep angry." Matt offered, "Everyone has a chance to talk." Amani asked them, "Is everyone allowed to have sex with each other without the other person's permission?" She admitted to feeling jealous and disrespected. Matt and Any agreed that tranparency worked for them as well. After creating their rules, Amani wondered if Any was truly in this for the full throuple experience or just Matt.

Peace for Mina & Jordan

Mark, Mina, and baby Maria headed to a family barbecue. On the way there, Jordan approached Mina and offered peace, asking to spend some time with her half-sister, Maria. Jordan wanted everyone to have a fun day and said they could take their relationship day by day. Mina thought Jordan was very honorable to suggest this and agreed to let bygones be bygones.

Don't Say My Deadname

Shawn and Alliya met up with Shawn's friend, Angela to play bingo. The group had a fun time and afterward, they chatted about Los Angeles, the K-1 visa process, and meetin Shawn's family. Alliya became upset that her deadname — the birth name a transgender person has but no longer uses — was used in the conversation by both Angela and Shawn. By the end of the night, Alliya felt exhausted.

She told Shawn this bothered her, and Shawn said it was his fault for bringing the deadname into the conversation. However, Shawn voiced that he had trouble discussing the events of their relationship without using it.

Sarper vs. Dan

Shekinah introduced Sarper to her close circle. Sarper felt sized up by Shekinah's friend, Dan. "He was just trying to step on me," Sarper claimed. Dan said that all of Shekinah's exes were losers and that he went on some dates with Shekinah in the past.

This made Sarper uncomfortable, but the worst was yet to come.

In front of everyone, Dan said, "In Turkey, I didn't believe in your relationship," adding, "I still think that I would be a better guy to be with."

As angry as Sarper was, he chose to ignore Dan, calling him a French baguette during his interview.

Alliya's Adventure Book

Shawn had a little surprise for Alliya to cheer her up. He presented a thick handmade book all about their relationship journey. Flooded with memories, Alliya felt embraced and important to Shawn.

The Dowry Discussion

Meeting Greg's friends opened Joan's eyes to their current situation. She wondered why Greg denied a stable union job before she moved to America, knowing that they could use that solid income and that Joan couldn't work yet.

She brought up the dowry Greg would have to pay her family as per tradition. Her family asked for fifteen cows, equating to nearly $3000. Joan said if Greg couldn't find a job and put in the effort, they wouldn't get married because that meant he couldn't take care of her.

Too Many Boobs Paintings

Mahdi was confused by some of the artwork around Stevi's home that featured breasts. So, he asked her if she had any interest in women and Stevi replied, "I'm attracted to you."

Stevi joked that when she told her dad she was bringing someone home to meet him, he asked, "Did you meet a woman?"

Since Stevi didn't want to provide a yes or no answer, this didn't ease Mahdi's mind and they decided to end the conversation.

Is There a Prenup?

At the family gathering, Jordan asked Mark — in front of everyone — if he was going to have Mina sign a prenup. It was an awkward moment and Mina was insulted. To her, it seemed like the family thought she was only with Mark for his money. Mina needed a moment to herself and stepped away, later crying.

Mark and his mother, Sheri, comforted Mina and assured her that everything would be okay.

Jordan felt bad for upsetting Mina and Mina apologized for calling Jordan and snake. In the end, Mina reinvited Jordan to the wedding.

Just a Friend?

Any shared that she planned to introduce Matt to her family as her boyfriend and Amani as her friend. Amani wasn't happy with this and made it known. Amani felt hidden and Any felt pressured.

Amani asked Any if she told anyone that she was in a serious realtionship with both her and Matt. Any said no and Amani stormed off in anger.

Men & Monster Trucks

Mahdi and Perry spent some quality time at the monster truck show. It was a whole new experience for Mahdi and he claimed it was the loudest sound he'd ever heard in his life.

Mahdi shared that he was grateful to attend the show with Perry. Then, Mahdi hoped he could get Perry's blessing to marry Stevi.

He showed Perry the ring he picked out and although Perry thought it was beautiful, he questioned if Stevi and Mahdi spent enough time together to get married. The fact that Mahdi asked for his blessing was a sign of respect and Perry approved!

Meet the Daughter

Shekinah introduced Sarper to her daughter, Sofie, who was away at boarding school. Before Shekinah could move forward with the wedding, she wanted Sofie's approval. Although Sarper didn't have the best first impression when he threw up during their boat ride, the day still went pretty well.

Sofie said Sarper needed to be on good terms with her family and she would need to get to know him more before she could approve of the relationship. Sarper owned up to his past encounters with Shekinah's family and knew he'd have to mend things in order to progress.

It's Only Gifts

During a car ride, Any shared that men would bring gifts for her daughter, Antonella. Matt and Amani thought this made Any appear available to the men who came into her work and left gifts. They asked Any if she told her daughter about them and she said she mentioned they were her friends. Matt and Amani doubted that Any took their relationship seriously.

Stay-at-Home Juan

While Jessica was at work, Juan had the task of caring for the three boys. Unfortunately, the lunch and dinner he cooked weren't a hit with the household. Juan pictured himself working and providing for the family, so not being able to do that was getting to him. He was also struggling to figure out why little David was crying from time to time. He explained this all to Jessica and she said his role as a parent was important and things would remain this way for a while.

The Privacy Pickle

Lucille asked Joan to help her sort mismatched socks while Greg was at a job interview. Lucille asked Joan if there was anything she didn't like about living in her home and Joan assured her she enjoyed everything, but missed her Ugandan food and privacy. Lucille took this to heart and expressed her feelings to Greg when he returned. Greg confronted Joan about the conversation and it put a wedge between them. Joan felt alone in the country and was disappointed that Greg took his mother's side without considering her view.

The Re-Proposal

With Perry's blessing, Mahdi set up a special re-proposal for Stevi. He surprised her on the beach with a "Marry Me" sign and rose petals. He got down on one knee and popped the question again. In awe, Stevi said yes! Mahdi slid the ring on Stevi's finger and sealed the touching moment with a kiss as a crowd of people cheered for them in the background.

Meet the Ex

After hearing some chatter, Mina asked to meet with Mark's ex-girlfriend, Jade. She asked Jade if there was any overlap between their relationships. Jade couldn't say for sure, but let Mina know that she broke up with Mark because he wanted to move to Boston and he didn't want to. She said they tried to make long distance work, but Mark was messaging another woman so they ended things.

Jade warned Mina that Mark's family was very close and a bit too involved. Mina didn't feel worried anymore and thought Jade was one of the nicest people she met in America so far.

Back to Montana

After speaking to Sofie, Sarper felt it was his duty to fix things with Shekinah's family. The couple traveled to Montana to meet with Shekinah's sisters, Shariyah, Zionah, and Mariah. The conversation took a sharp turn when Sarper brought up obedience and Shekinah's role in their home. Her sisters were not a fan of what Sarper was saying and he definitely put his foot in his mouth.

The sisters brought up Sarper's past angry reactions and they appreciated him hearing them out. He apologized for the awful visit Shariyah experienced in Turkey and they agreed on a fresh start. It would take time for the ladies to trust Sarper, but Shekinah thought it was a productive day.

Unequal Thirds

Any dropped a bombshell: She loved Amani more than Matt. This news caused Matt to crumble. He felt pushed out of the relationship and vented to a friend via video call. Later on, he had a one-on-one conversation with Amani about the relationship dynamic. Amani assured him that she and Any just bonded easier, but Matt said he needed to be included or it would never work. Amani didn't want the relationship without Matt, which comforted him. They knew things would have to change between the three of them in order to move forward.

The Ultimate Gift

Lucille found a gorgeous wedding venue for Greg and Joan. With the dowry payment approaching, Greg's wallet wasn't so thrilled about the cost. Lucille offered to pay for Greg and Joan's special day if they pitched in $1000. Greg and Joan were overwhelmed by Lucille's kindness, tearing up and all. Lucille was happy to do it.

"That's what families do," Lucille explained.

Rolling with the Punches

Shawn took Alliya to meet his family. Alliya was overjoyed that Shawn's family was so accepting of her since some of her own family was not. However, Shawn's family questioned him about the couple's age gap. Shawn understood their concerns and he had a few of his own. He knew there would be more changes coming in the relationship and said he was rolling with the punches.

Shekinah & Sarper's Squabble

After returning home from their trip to Montana, Shekinah and Sarper got into a huge fight. Sarper contemplated flying back to Turkey, but he stopped himself. Despite not knowing where they stood as a couple, Shekinah packed up her office supplies so she and Sarper would have more living space in her home.

Matt & Any's Chat

During a moment alone, Matt approached Any about her preference for Amani. Any confirmed that she was closer to Amani, but understood how that made Matt feel. They agreed to spend more time together to strengthen their bond.

Greg Got the Job

Greg received a very important phone call while he and Joan were washing the dogs outside. He got the job he interviewed for! Joan was thrilled and so proud of Greg. They were one step closer to getting their own place!

Take It or Leave It

Mahdi found out that Stevi painted a nude portrait of her friend, Claire. Mahdi was taken aback because Stevi usually shared everything she did and it made him question Stevi's preferences again. This continuous conflict came to a head for the couple and Stevi said, "I've already told you 100 times I wanted you. Take it or leave it."

Joan Takes Times Square

Greg and Joan spent a night in Manhattan, where they strolled around Times Square. Joan enjoyed her first slice of New York pizza and couldn't get over the bright lights of the city. They had talked about doing this for a long time and it was the perfect way to celebrate Greg's new job. Then, they headed back to their hotel for a romantic evening, just the two of them.

Alliya's Consultation

Alliya wanted more information about feminization surgery and hormone therapy, so she made an appointment with a doctor and asked Shawn to come along. As the doctor explained potential procedures for Alliya, Shawn became concerned. He felt he wasn't in the loop with all of Alliya's aspirations for her journey and he wanted to know what was coming next.

Shekinah & Sarper Make Up

Shekinah and Sarper were at odds and had another argument at home. Although they weren't getting along, their chemistry took over living in such close quarters. Sarper snuck upstairs "like a tiger" in the middle of the night and the next morning, things were much smoother between the couple. They rehashed their situation with fresh minds and agreed to move forward and try harder.

Things were okay for the moment, but Shekinah explained, "Good sex is not enough reason to get married."

Meeting Any's Ex

Matt and Amani met with Any's ex to gain a better understanding of Any. Rey had been involved in Any accepting money into a bank account. They talked about their current relationship and they were upset that Any didn't tell Rey she was in a serious relationship with them. Then, Rey revealed that Any's real name was actually Brenda and she was still married to another ex! Matt and Amani were floored and couldn't fathom why Any lied to them about such important details of her life.

They asked Any to join the conversation. Any said that she wasn't married and that Any was a nickname for her middle name, Anahi. Unfortunately, Matt and Amani weren't very satisfied with Any's explanation.

Jessica & Juan's Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties

Jessica and Juan had their bachelor and bachelorette parties planned for the same evening. Jessica and Megin gave their men shirts with their faces on them to wear to the bar. The ladies went out dancing and the guys watched a strip tease, complete with a pink feather boa for the groom.

They reunited at home and discussed Juan returning to the cruise line. Juan missed work, but Jessica didn't want him to be away from the family for months at a time.

Stevi & Mahdi's Burlesque Bach

The couple planned a joint night out with friends. They started the evening with a burlesque show and Madhi wasn't sure what to expect. After a few performances, Madhi felt overwhelmed and walked out of the venue. To turn the night around, the group left the burlesque show and headed to a nearby bar to chat about the upcoming wedding.

Sealed with a Kiss

To solidify their commitment as the 90 days dwindled down, Sarper got a tattoo of Shekinah's lips on his neck. Sarper was proud to do it and Shekinah loved the result.

Accepting Any

Any brought along a translator to help explain herself. She told Matt and Amani that she couldn't keep anything her name using her real name, Brenda, because she was still married to her ex-husband. She wanted the leave their tubulent marriage and he did not, so it took years to finalize.

Matt and Amani understood her situation and didn't want to fight anymore. After Any shared this vulnurable side of herself, the throuple made up.

Dowry Done

Greg surprised Joan with an inflatable cow suit to celebrate his payment of the dowry to her family! Joan was ecstatic and told Greg how thankful she was that Greg respected her father's last wish. With the payment out of the way, they were ready to get hitched.

Joan's Bum-Filled Bachelorette

Joan's bachelorette party was a hit! She and her ladies took a limo ride to a strip club and played never have I ever during the trip. Joan was enjoying life, but felt a bit awkward sitting next to Greg's mother at the club. However, she saw that Lucille was having a grand old time watching the dancers shaking their bums.

The Cruise Ultimatum

Jessica and Juan finally sat down to discuss the cruise job offer. Jessica gave Juan an ultimatum: the cruise or his family. Ultimately, Juan chose his family. Although he loved the cruise life and wasn't sure what kind of job opportunities he'd have in their town, he knew that being with his family was the most important thing.

Shawn & Alliya's Wedding Day

The couple's wedding day began with some chaos. Shawn's mother had a slip and fall, Alliya was nearly two hours late for the ceremony, and the 100+ degree heat melted their guests. Shawn didn't seem pleased with how everything went down and Alliya was disappointed with Shawn's reaction. Shawn felt he wasn't considered on his own wedding day. They put on brave faces for the reception.

After getting hitched, there was even more tension between Shawn and Alliya about what their future would look like.

Mina's Heartbreak

Mina was informed that her son, Clayton, wouldn't be able to come to America. Mina hoped he'd be there for her and Mark's wedding, but there were unresolved visa issues. She was beside herself and broke the news to her young son. She assured him he'd be able to attend virtually through a video call.

A Throuple Torn

Any had to choose who she wanted to marry and she chose Matt. Amani was crushed and broke down over this revelation. Any was turned off by Amani's reactions and certain things she did during their entire visit. It was time for everyone to return home and sadly, the throuple was no longer in a good place.

A Wedding Saved

On the day of the wedding, Greg realized that his wedding invitation didn't instruct guests to come ahead of the ceremony time. Worried that the guests would walk in during the ceremony, he and Lucille frantically called everyone with the time correction. Greg didn't want Joan to worry about a thing.

Stevi & Mahdi's Wedding Day

Before the couple's ceremony, Stevi left a special gift for Mahdi to find. She set up a Persian New Year Haft Seen — a display of seven things that start with the letter S — for Mahdi to see after he got ready. Their wedding day was only a few days before the holiday and it would mark Mahdi's first Persian New Year in America. It was a beautiful moment leading up to their nuptials. Our 90th 90 Day Fiance wedding! After a freakout over the special decor and furniture, Shekinah and Sarper tied the knot in their own unique way.
