Family Time in Miami

Bienvenedos a Miami! The south Florida hot spot may be known for its bustling beaches and happening night life, but it’s also a great place to spend time as a family — even with young kids. This season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, we see several of our couples raising families in Miami. So, we're highlighting some of the best activities, places to visit, and restaurants to eat at with families.

Jungle Island

An incredible place for the whole family, Jungle Island offers adventure, education and entertainment. Spend the day walking the treewalk, getting up close with animals and playing in the playground. Make sure to take a break and watch the Guardians of the Jungle show as well. Don’t forget to scope out all the great wildlife exhibits, too.

Miami Children’s Museum

The Miami Children’s Museum is always a great visit, especially when you have little kids. It’s the perfect place to go in the morning, when it’s too hot or rainy, or just for a few hours of interactive entertainment. You’ll find many different exhibits at this children’s museum from classics — like a grocery store, Vet clinic, and safety zone — plus more Miami-specific showcases like Port of Miami, South Florida and Me, and cruise ships. There are always rotating exhibits, so you’ll never run out of things to see and do!

Wynwood Walls

The Wynwood Walls are a must-visit for anyone in Miami but kids love them too for the bright funky colors and unique art installations. Older kids (6+) can even participate in spray painting their own designs on the wall.

South Pointe Park

A good park is always a crowd pleaser. This one located right off the water has a playground, a spray pad, concessions, and bathrooms. The playground is filled with slides, climbing structures, various water features and more to keep kids entertained for hours.

Ice Cream Factory

Visit the historic Lincoln Road in Miami and you’ll surely stumble on this acclaimed ice cream shop boasting over two dozen flavors of ice cream and sorbet plus dipped waffle cones and more. Who doesn’t love a scoop of homemade ice cream?

Frost Science

Frost Science is a location perfect for a rainy day. With so much to do you’ll want to spend hours exploring. This science center is not only home to its own exhibits like a dinosaur dig or exploration of AI, but also to Miami’s planetarium and aquarium. Explore the solar system and aquatic ecosystems all under one roof.

Miami Seaquarium

Get immersed in the sea with the awesome Miami Seaquarium complete with bucket list moments like swimming with the dolphins, meeting a sea lion, or interacting with the penguins. There’s so much to learn and be entertained by here.

Superblue

There’s so much to be in awe of at this digital art experience that brings color, light and sound together for a truly 360-degree immersive art experience. There are different exhibits including mirror mazes, sound installations, photo murals and more — a true feast of the senses.

Everglades Tour

If you’re looking to take a small venture away from Miami, the hour ride to the Everglades is worth it. Take a boat tour through the national park to spot gators, flora and other animals in their natural habitat. A guide will teach you all you need to know about the Everglades.

Marlins Game

Baseball games are always a fun family outing and the Marlins do a few things to make it extra special for kids. Kids 14 and under can win swag with the more games they attend. Only there for a night? Pick a Sunday where kids can come early to run the bases.
