"You’re teammates, not enemies. So go through this process with an open heart."

As therapist Heidi Clapham gave Ari and Bini an assignment to work on their trust issues, she offered them this powerful advice: if they truly want to save their marriage, they must be willing to dig deep, face uncomfortable truths, and commit to real change — together.

"I want you guys to cuddle."

When the therapist suggested, "I want you guys to cuddle," Jovi hesitated, but Yara was all in. The exercise was meant to help them reconnect emotionally and physically, something they had been struggling with. Sometimes, the simplest gestures can be the key to reigniting a relationship and rebuilding the closeness that had started to fade.

"I hear a lot of red lights over here. How about you give him a directive? Where do you think there might be a green light for you?"

During a steamy couples exercise, therapist Reba Thomas urged Jasmine to shift her approach with Gino. Reba’s advice pushed Jasmine to focus on what excited her rather than what held her back, helping the couple create a more open and passionate connection. Jasmine clearly appreciated this advice.

"This time you’ve figured it out, and you have a partner that is so supportive of you."

After Ed’s emotional past life regression session, the therapist reassured him that in this life he has found someone who really loves him. In a past life, Ed felt unloved and alone, but in the present, he had Liz by his side. If he wanted to fix things with a partner, he'd have to fully appreciate and support them.

During a couple’s therapy session, Rob and Sophie received this powerful piece of advice. Since Sophie would overthink and emotionally withdraw, creating distance in their relationship, the therapist encouraged the couple to let go, be vulnerable, and rebuild intimacy. By trusting each other fully — both emotionally and physically — they could reignite their romance and strengthen their connection in a meaningful way.

"I want to add some fun and spice into what you’re doing. So I want you to try roleplay."

When the therapist suggested adding some spice to their relationship through roleplay, Stacey didn’t hesitate. Inspired by the wild west (and a few strategically placed cowboy hats) she was ready to take Florian on a romantic adventure. With her signature flair, she embraced the idea wholeheartedly, proving that a little creativity can go a long way. Sometimes, all it takes is a theme and some imagination!

"When we’re dealing with a healthy relationship, it’s important that the leadership responsibilities have to be shared."

During a group kayaking challenge, the couples faced a key question: Who will lead, and who will support? Therapist James Kelleher reminded them that just like in relationships, teamwork is essential. One partner can't do all the work while the other coasts. The exercise highlighted the balance between taking charge and trusting your partner, a lesson that applied far beyond the water.

"Eyes are the windows into the soul and eye gazing can build intimacy between the couples."

During a group therapy session, the couples were asked to simply look into each other’s eyes — a challenge that was more powerful than it seemed. This exercise pushed them to connect on a deeper level, beyond words. For some, it was uncomfortable at first, but for others, it reignited a sense of closeness that had been missing.

During an emotional sand therapy session, Rob and Sophie had a major breakthrough about how Sophie’s childhood trauma impacts their marriage. A hypnotherapist and life coach, tells the couple encourages Sophie to examine how this shaped their relationship. By recognizing her struggles, the could could finally begin healing and rebuilding their bond.
