Ami teaches an art class at Miami Children's hospital and brings the kid's drawings to life through animation. Baby Dre takes Yoji shopping for some tight, tight jeans and Ami and Nunez can hardly believe the results.

The crew's on the move. Ami, Nunez, Darren and Dre head out to Cape Canaveral to see the space shuttle launch, discovering that traveling in an RV isn't exactly "luxury!" They almost miss the launch because Nunez points them in the wrong direction!

Nunez gives back to mom, buying her a house and helps out with the move. Ami has a lesson in Jujitsu with a group of young martial artists. Garver tattoos an admirer from Italy. Tim and Nunez give brothers some matching scars.

Ami and the guys decide to test their metal on the golf course but are denied entry because they're not up to speed with the dress code. After a shopping spree, they hit the links in true Miami Ink style. Soon the competition turns into a showdown.

Dre's been feeling left out and wants her name put up on the shop window to feel like she's part of the team. Nunez & Damaris share a similar taste in cars, but not in tattoos. Darren helps Andrea deal with a loss with an unusual tattoo.

Yoji & Darren set out to create a unique baby clothing line that flaunts tattoo-based designs, but creative differences threaten to keep the project from getting off the ground. Ami helps Vanessa overcome a hard relationship with a tattoo.

The crew hits Post-Katrina New Orleans to spend some tourist dollars in the cash-strapped city, and do a guest artist stint at their friend's tattoo shop, Eye Candy. They chow down on crawfish and share a few thrills at their haunted hotel.

Yoji takes Bridget and baby Sidney to Japan so he can introduce his Mom to her granddaughter for the first time in the hopes of rebuilding family ties. Meanwhile, a doctor asks Darren to use his artistic skills to help out a young patient.

Ami jumps into producing a mixed martial arts fight night, and quickly finds himself in over his head. Nunez helps a cancer survivor gain some balance. Darren and Talea make some last minute preparations for the newest addition to their family.

Kat Von D is back in her hometown of LA and she's fulfilling her dream of opening her own tattoo shop. She found a hot location and she plans to make it the coolest shop in town. As construction gets underway, Kat looks everywhere for her dream team.

Kat's nailed down her dream team, but the shop's not ready when Hannah and Kim arrive to work in LA. Hannah's worried Kim might drop out. Fortunately, Corey agrees to let the entire crew work out of his shop until LA Ink opens.

LA INK is open for business and Kat Von D and her crew celebrate with a huge rock n roll bash! It's been a struggle getting her dream shop off the ground but it's done and now the whole city will see if Kat has what it takes to run her own business.

While bathing suit shopping with Pixie, Kat learns her recent weight loss has changed more than her waistline. Pixie gives Kat the hard sell on breast implants. But before Kat goes under the knife, she does a test run on the girls at the shop.

Kat's overworked, so Kim suggests that they both do a cleanse. Kat raises the stakes by making a bet to see who can last longer. The loser will get tattooed by Steve O. Nashville's Emerson Drive stops by the shop to celebrate their first #1 song.

Corey contemplates getting a vasectomy, but it's a tougher decision then he thought it would be. Kat surprises Pixie by getting a portrait tattoo of her to show her how much she loves her. In the shop, Hannah tattoos a fighting fish on Raye.

Kat and the team learn the true meaning of sisterhood when Pixie falls sick but can't afford the surgery she desperately needs. Corey turns to occult art to find inspiration and tattoos a creepy portrait for his friend.
