Reaching into the roots and ancestry of America's celebrities, "Who Do You Think You Are?" takes celebrities on a journey into their personal histories -- and now TLC has announced that the fan-favorite reality series "Who Do You Think You Are?" will air all-new episodes on the network this summer.

From roots in the Deep South to the slums of New Jersey, "Who Do You Think You Are?" follows the journeys of some of the most well-known names in American popular culture as they reveal unknown details about themselves and their families. Executive Producer Lisa Kudrow (best known for her role as Phoebe in the hit sitcom Friends, of course) opens doors to fascinating real-life stories and eye-opening revelations that impact their lives today.TLC will air 8 hour-long episodes, which are set to premiere Tuesday, July 23. Celebrities such as Christina Applegate, Kelly Clarkson, Cindy Crawford, and Chris O’Donnell have signed up for the emotional journey, with additional subjects to be announced. Each episode takes an emotional journey and discovers amazing details about a family trees’ deep roots.

“I’ve never stopped hearing about how much people love Who Do You Think You Are? and I’ve always known that we’ve had more great stories to share,” said Lisa Kudrow, Executive Producer in a press release. “TLC is a great home for the series, and we join our excited celebrity participants as we unearth some amazing background and surprising histories.”
