Linda needs a new wardrobe before she will ever be ready for her close-up. Linda's Makeover Pictures.

Body Type: Hourglass

Problem: Backstage blues have put this baby in a corner, along with her body image.

Linda is a single 47- year-old manager of a prestigious San Diego theater. But a deep self-consciousness about her body and her fear of being objectified at work has kept her cloaked in baggy jeans and oversized sweaters - even when she has to hobnob with the theater's prominent clients and donors. Linda needs to ditch the schlumpy stagehand look, but can Stacy and Clinton convince this team player that she'll still be respected if she looks like a leading lady? Will her self-consciousness keep her in the backstage shadows?

Linda's Fashion Don'ts:

  • Confuse oversized clothing for a "here to serve" message.
  • Avoid color because you think it's not serious enough for work.
  • Dress in heavy, ill-fitting knitwear -- even if your mom knitted them for you.
  • Cover up the goods -- the girls are not concealed weapons.

Linda poses with one of her mannequins.

Linda's Fashion Dos:

  • Invest in a pair of trouser-cut jeans, which can go from backstage to lobby with ease.
  • Work denim into a shift-dress to change up the jeans routine.
  • Wear color! It also helps to communicate an open, friendly personality and can make a world of difference in your attitude toward yourself and the world.
  • Wear a V-neck, which is good for larger busted frames and helps achieve an hourglass silhouette.
  • Consider using metallic colors as neutrals -- more eye-catching.

Carmindy and Ted show Linda her star potential.

Ted's Hair Transformation:

Ted convinced Linda to cover her grey hair with a demi-permanent color for vibrancy. He then gave her a cut with graduation in the back that gives her a soft look as it transitions to the front.

Carmindy's Makeover:

Linda rarely wore makeup. Carmindy showed Linda a low-maintenance routine that would give her a little sparkle.

Linda's Step-by-Step Makeover:

  • Apply moisturizer and then foundation with a non-latex sponge.
  • Dab on, all over Brightener under eyes and at outer corners of the eyes.
  • Swirl on Cream Blush to the apples and along the back of cheekbones.

  • Fill in eyebrows with Makeup Forever Brown Corrector in #3.
  • Line upper lash line with a chocolate-brown pencil a third of the way across lid with a little wing at the corners.
  • Apply the highlight shade from the Storm Palette under the eyebrows and on the inner corners of the eyes.
  • Sweep the highlight shade across lid from lash line to crease from the Quartz Palette.
  • Use the lid shade from the Quartz Palette above the Crease.
