Meri's Cranberry Salad


  • 4 cup fresh frozen cranberries (1 -12 ounce package)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cup red grapes, cut in half
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup whipped topping


  1. Chop cranberries in blender (careful, it's loud!). Mix with sugar.
  2. Put in colander and cover overnight to strain and thaw. Place colander in larger bowl. Save juice to pour over cranberries again and re-strain in the morning.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and serve.
