What is the status of your addiction today?

She is still eating the face mask, actually a little more than before

How has your life changed since being on the show?

She is grateful for the show. From visiting the doctor, she learned that there are clays out there that she can eat, that are prescribed to be eaten, and that gives her peace of mind. Being on the show made her realized that she has a true addiction. She used to think of it as a quirk, but now she knows it's a full blown addiction.

Was the doctor beneficial in helping you cope with your addiction?

She feels empowered by acknowledging and expressing that she has an addiction.

How did being on the show and going to the doctor help you in terms of dealing with your addiction?

She has opened up to even more of her friends and family since being on the show, and talking to others about her addiction has made her feel really good. As a result, her friends and family have been opening up to her as well.

Currently, what steps are you taking to curb your addiction?

She does want to stop eating, and is going to consider replacing the face mask with an edible clay that she can safely eat.

Have you continued treatment for your addiction? If not, why not?

She didn't go back to a doctor, but is trying to will herself to eat less.

Do you have any words of advice for other people dealing with addictions?

"Acknowledging your addiction puts you on an equal playing field with your addiction." Meaning it doesn't have power over you. Opening up to others is also a really good idea.
