Kayla's gypsy dip is savory and so cheesy.

Spice up snack time with Kayla's gypsy dip. It's beefy and cheesy with just a hint of spice. Your entire family will fall for this savory favorite!


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Red bell pepper, diced
  • Large jar of cheese/queso dip
  • Small jar of salsa, as hot as you like it
  • Chili powder
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Sour cream
  • Corn chips or tortilla chips for serving


  1. Brown the beef in a deep pot.
  2. While the beef is browning, add the red bell pepper. You can use as little as 1/4 of the pepper or the entire thing, depending on your preference.
  3. Once the beef has browned, drain the grease.
  4. Add a large jar of cheese/queso dip. Fold into the beef and pepper mixture.
  5. Add a half jar of salsa. Fold in thoroughly.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with a few shakes of chili powder. Stir once more.
  7. Transfer the dip to a bowl and garnish with sour cream and green onions. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips.
