  • 2 pound Clams. Washed and scrubbed.
  • 1 pound Shrimp (6 pieces of large shrimp.) Peel the shells and devein.
  • 1 pound Calamari/Sepia
  • 6 pieces of large scallops
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup White wine
  • 1 cup Clam juice or Fish Broth
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Grated Romano Cheese
  • 2 cup Fresh Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 3 to 4 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tablespoon Finely chopped Fresh Parsley
  • Angel Hair Pasta
  • Buy it cleaned. Feel free to use frozen calamari. Separate the heads from the bodies. Chop the bodies and keep the heads whole.rinse and remove any muscle.

  1. The first thing you want to do is to clean your seafood. Wash, scrub and pull the beards off the mussels. Then wash and scrub the clams. Peel and devein the shrimp. The calamari can be bought cleaned and frozen. Separate the heads from the bodies and keep the heads whole. Next rinse the scallops and remove any muscle that is attached.
  2. Once the seafood is cleaned, put the olive oil and 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes on a medium high heat. Feel free to increase or decrease amount of red pepper. Heat oil until it's fragrant enough that you cough, about 2 minutes. This whole recipe is made and served in a large stainless sturdy pot.
  3. Next you add 3 or 4 cloves of chopped garlic. Then start putting in your seafood. Start with the clams and also throw in a cup of white wine at the same time as your clams. Put the lid on until the clams just start to pop open. Add the mussels and cook for a minute before adding a cup of clam juice or fish broth.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Once it boils, put the remaining seafood and 2 cups of chopped tomatoes into the mixture.
  6. Once the second batch of seafood goes into the pot, drop your pasta into some boiling water. Let it cook on medium heat with the lid on, until the seafood is cooked through. It should take 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the lid and stir in half of the chopped Italian parsley.
  7. Add 1/4 cup of cheese in at the end because it helps thicken the sauce.
  8. Drain the pasta and dump it into the pot with the seafood. Toss, add remaining chopped parsley and serve.
