You've lived it, so we don't need to tell you the myriad ways pregnancy changes your body. The weight gain is part of growing a healthy baby. The adage "nine months up, nine months down" applies, so give yourself time to adjust to your new shape.

Some moms take up a stroller strides class so they can exercise, get out of the house, and meet other mom friends. Whichever way you try to get back in shape, give yourself a break and know that you created life and now you're raising a child--that's pretty remarkable! You have a new focus; so don't beat yourself up about your post-pregnancy pounds.
