Where’s the Cast of “Single Dad Seeking” Now? We’ve Got Updates!

During the past season of "Single Dad Seeking," you met five single fathers working hard to raise their kids. Jake, Jason, John, Mike, and Paul were searching to find not only love in their lives, but also a woman willing to love their children. There were ups (literally, there were couples' pull-ups) and downs (see Denise's adventures in babysitting Elijah).

We asked a few of the ladies and gents featured on the show to share updates on where they are now. Let's see what they learned from their experience on the show!

"Since the show ended, my life went back to exactly what it was before the show: working full time, and being with my son, Mikey. Since Valene and I split up, my dating life is non existent. Mikey will be with his Mom for the summer, and I'll have time available to do more things.

My experience from being on the show has taught me a lot. The biggest thing that I learned is that it's ok to take a risk in life. Even though Valene and I didn't work out, I enjoyed every second we spent together. We will have those memories forever."

"I'm very happy and actively casually dating. If I ever was to date a single dad again, I would prefer taking the time to establish a romantic bond first before being introduced to the child. I'd work on being more patient because I understand parenting is hard work."

"I have been working, being a daddy, and going to the gym. I continue to build furniture on the side in my spare time. I'm currently seeing someone. During this experience, I learned that standing my ground to protect my heart is always the right thing to do."

"Since the show ended, I moved and started a new job. I also just recently competed in my provincial bodybuilding competition where I placed first in our SABBA Figure Tall category and WON the SABBA Figure overall award. This gives me a lifetime bid to our Canadian Nationals! I feel so excited and blessed!

I am currently dating a man who makes sure he puts me first and is always willing to cuddle and snuggle me. We love our time together!

I learned from the show that being a single parent is so hard- much harder than I would have ever given credit for (and I grew up with a broken family.) I also learned that life is short and that a person MUST stay true to their wants and needs. I know I deserve a man who will put me first when he can. I know I need a man who will love me for me and whom I can do the same back! It's important for me to be with a man who isn't afraid to show me affection and someone who always asks about my day, my past, my thoughts are. I truly believe that I may have found my "Prince Charming" with my new boyfriend."

"My life went back to the way it was before the show. I've started a new relationship with someone I met through social media. I'm extremely excited in moving forward in our relationship. :) "

"I am dating but I have learned a lot about myself and what my true expectations are of myself and the people in my life. I have learned to love myself before I can actually love someone else. I have advanced in my career and continue to spend time with family and friends.

Going into this experience, I thought it would be hard to date a single dad. When I became a parent over night with 4 kids, I thought it would be hard. Fortunately, it came natural and easy with Paul and the kids. After coming back home, I learned that all good things will happen when it's time but they cannot be planned. I really did like Paul, but it wasn't enough to relocate. Paul and his family welcomed me in and we all hit it off. It was very easy being in Mississippi, but after coming home to my family I felt that it wasn't right for me to do so.

Paul is an amazing man, father, and friend but he just wasn't the one for me. I will always be thankful that I met Paul because he taught me a lot about myself in such short time. I miss the kids and I hope they will always remember me with fond memories. I wish nothing but the best for Paul and his family."

"I have been teaching at my local high school and continuing to teach spin classes and dog training part-time. I wrote a children's book on dads in the animal kingdom. I've traveled to Iceland and lead a group of my students on an ecotourism trip through Costa Rica.

I went into this knowing who I am, what I want, and who I wanted to be with. These things are all the same and solidified by my experiences on this show.

The people reaching out to me and showing support, love, positivity are the most POSITIVE thing that came out of this for me. It was amazing to see that there are truly kind people out there on social media."

"I'm still working in the gaming industry, but at a different company. In my spare time, I'm still podcasting and being a dork. I've been dating a wonderful man for about two months now.

From this experience, I learned that I needed someone who was ready to commit and willing to commit to me specifically."
