Where is the Cast of Trading Spaces Now?

We've recently announced Trading Spaces will be making its way back into the TLC line up! It has been almost a decade since the show concluded its original run in 2008. From Broadway to book tours, the cast of this TLC fan-favorite have been busy with brand new projects of their own.

Where are they now? In anticipation for the Trading Spaces re-boot, find out what Paige, Ty, Hildi and the rest of the cast have been up to over the years.

Paige Davis - Host

Paige Davis has spent the last decade diving head first into a professional acting career to pursue her passion for theater and dance. She has headlined in a handful of Broadway performances, including her most recent appearance in the Broadway revival Boeing Boeing. Paige has also held leading title roles in other productions; Broadway's traveling production of Sweet Charity, and Broadway's Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Paige also devotes her spare time advocating for her favorite charities. She services as a spokeswoman for Volunteers of America's "Operation Backpack" and is a frequent emcee at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Ty Pennington - Carpenter

Ty Pennington has continued to use his knack for renovation and interior design to help families and communities in need. He has stayed close to the entertainment industry over the years as a host for other renovation themed shows, including Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and American Diner Revival.

Ty has his own home furnishing line, Signature Home Furnishings by Ty Pennington, a home decor line, Ty Pennington Style, and a custom flooring collection. His most recent endeavor has been the launch of his custom fabric line, Ty Pennington Impressions.

Ty is also the author to two design and renovation guidebooks: How Good Design Can Change Your Life and Ty's Tricks.

Faber Dewar - Carpenter

Faber Dewar has continued to pursue his passion for carpentry over the years, but has also invested his time in several startup businesses focused on environmental consciousness.

He is the President and Developer at Drink Up, a purified bottled water company, and the founder of Zero Impact, a manufacturing retailer for biodegradable shopping bags.

Faber has also dabbled acting, starring in a handful of Hollywood hits. His most recent silver screen appearances include White House Down (2013) with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).

Carter Oosterhouse - Carpenter

Carter Oosterhouse has continued to work in the entertainment industry as a television personality on many various design and renovation shows, including: Red, Hot & Green, Million Dollar Rooms, and Celebrity Motor Homes. His most recent on-air appearance is as the host of FYI's Rowhouse Showdown and co-host of ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight.

Carter is also a published author. His first book, Carter's Way, serves as his personal guide to home design, DIY tutorials and budget-conscious tips-and-tricks for eco-friendly design. His second publication, A BIG Problem, is a children's illustrated novel.

Doug Wilson - Designer

Doug Wilson has continued working in the entertainment and television industry. He has been featured as a host for a handful of different home renovation themed television shows, including TLC's Moving Up and Making It Home: Greensburg.

Today, he has returned to his roots as a designer and focuses most of his time on family back in his home state of Illinois. Outside of his private practice, Doug has dabbled in the restaurant industry as well as published his first book: Doug's Rooms: Transforming Your Space One Room at a Time.

Genevieve Gorder - Designer

Genevieve Gorder has used her eye for interior design to build a powerhouse brand behind her name over the last decade. She is the founder and director of the Genevieve Gorder brand, a television host and producer, a home product designer, and author.

Genevieve has been a host and on-air personality in over 20 design and lifestyle shows worldwide, as well as a two-time Emmy nominee. She is also a regular design host for the White House.

When she's not transforming spaces, Genevieve is also operating her personal line of home and lifestyle retail merchandise. Her collection currently includes rugs, textiles, wallpaper and stationary, and will soon expand into children's furniture and decor.

Frank Bielec - Designer

Frank has continued to use his eye for design and love for crafting throughout the years. He is the co-owner and founder of "Mosey 'N Me" - a craft supply business he began with his wife, Kate. Through Mosey 'N Me, Frank continues to help novice designers break into the art and DIY crafting world through selling patterns for craft projects, fabrics, and crafting art supplies.

Frank is also a proud grandfather and enjoys spending time with his family when he is not working.

Edward Walker - Designer

Edward has spent his time focusing on his design firm, Walker Designs.

He has also developed a home decor line, featuring accent pillows, accessories and home linens. Most recently, Edward launched "The Edward Walker Collection" in partnership with Cuddlebugs-n-Cocoons to release a collection of fashion-forward teen bedding and accent pieces.

Hildi Santo Tomas - Designer

Hildi Santo Tomas has stayed out of the limelight in recent years.

She has taken to travel, pursing anything from design to photography to floristry. From Paris to North Carolina, Hildi can be found traveling the world and immersing herself in the world of fashion, art and design.

Kia Steave-Dickerson - Designer

Kia Steave-Dickerson has continued in the entertainment business but transferred her eye for design from home renovation to Hollywood set design.

Most recently, Kia worked as the Assistant Property Master for Creed (2015) and has continued to manage props and set design for a handful of movie and theater stage productions.

Vern Yip - Designer

Vern Yip has continued to build an empire around his Atlanta-based design company, Vern Yip Designs. He has a wide array of home lighting and decor products, including home fabric collection, home fragrances, and the Vern Yip Home Line, a private collection sold on HSN.

Vern has stayed close the entertainment business, serving as a host and designer for five design themed shows. He also partnered with Pepsi in the past to release a limited-edition Diet Pepsi can.

In 2016, Vern released his first book, Vern Yip's Design Wise: Your Smart Guide to a Beautiful Home. He is also a columnist for The Washington Post and uses his platform to share travel and design tips with readers around the world.

Vern also works closely with UNICEF as the founder and national chair of The UNICEF Experience in Atlanta.

Laurie Smith - Designer

Laurie has continued to work in design for both private home and commercial properties.

Laurie broke in the retail industry, curating both a home lighting line, Laurie Smith Lighting, and a hand-selected fabric collection for Hancock. She is also a published for her first book: Discovering Home with Laurie Smith: Find your Personal Style.

Most recently, Laurie has settled down in Jackson, Mississippi with her husband, Brad, to be a full-time soccer mom for her two children.
