These days Tom Bergeron is best known as host for the wildly popular dance competition show "Dancing with the Stars," but much like he'll discover about his ancestors on his "Who Do You Think You Are?" journey, Tom himself has some fun facts hiding in his history. Here are our favorites.

1. Though he's a host of the most popular dance show, he can't really dance. Or doesn't really want to. He told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year: "..The idea of being an actual contestant? There'd be two problems. One, I don't think I'd last past week four. And two, I would not enjoy watching someone else host the show."

2. He was also once host of Hollywood Squares. From 1998 to 2004, to be exact. (This was also while hosting America's Funniest Home Videos, which he stepped aside from last year.) We particularly like this clip of Bergeron showing his goofier side on a 1998 episode of that game show. Bonus: you get to see Whoopi Goldberg hamming it up as center square.

3. He's been married to the same woman for 33 years. Sadly quite the rarity in Hollywood. He and his wife, Lois Harmon, have two sons.

4. He starred in a little-known movie called Rock Slyde. Released in 2009, it told the story of down-on-his-luck detective who takes on a "quasi-religious cult," per IMDb. His co-stars included Andy Dick, Lea Thompson and Jason Alexander.
