With so many negative stories in the news each day, a heartwarming one like this, is a great reminder that there are still kind people in the world. A picture of a woman buying a ticket at an airline counter has gone viral, and not because of the woman's intended destination but for her act of kindness and who receives this ticket.

A fellow airport patron witnessed a panicked scene and described it on the What Love Matters Facebook page, and the post has since gone viral. According to the caption of the picture, when checking in for his flight, a father was confused and upset because he was under the impression his young daughter could fly for free by sitting on his lap during the flight. Apparently this father bought the ticket while his daughter was a one year old -- when most airlines don't require parents to purchase a ticket. However, on the day of the flight, she recently turned two years old.

"He was hit with emotion. He mentioned he couldn't afford to rebook this flight or get her the ticket on such short notice. He stepped aside and tried to make a few calls," reads the caption. "Hugging his daughter and grabbing his head, you could tell he was heartbroken."

That's when a Good Samaritan stepped in to help. According to the witness, the woman in the picture walked over to the father and asked what was wrong. That's when she decided to step in and purchase the little girl's ticket. "The agent said, 'You know how much this ticket costs right?' and after explaining it would cost a whopping $749, the woman said 'that's fine' and pulled out her credit card."

This act of kindness took everyone by surprise, even the ticket agent. "The agent kept talking about her goosebumps while the man hugged the woman and asked for her name to repay her. The woman just kept saying, 'Don't worry about it.'"
