Finding out you are going to be a big brother or big sister is pretty exciting, but it probably takes a little time to get used to the idea. However, for 11-year-old Raygen Pruitt and 6-year-old Harper Pruitt, they only had a few moments to find out their family was growing, and their reaction, which was caught on video by their dad, is priceless.

The Pruitt family, who live in Rowlett, Texas, had been planning on adopting but didn't know when a new baby would be joining their family. The girls were getting excited just thinking about having a new baby brother or sister. "They would ask all the time, 'Have you gotten a call? When is our brother or sister coming home?'" their dad Shane Pruitt, told ABC News. "And they definitely wanted a sister."

Shane and his wife Kasi finally got the call on July 25 their newborn daughter had arrived. Not wanting to leave anything up to chance, the Pruitts did not tell their daughter's they were going to pick up their new baby sister. So when they arrived home with their new baby, the girls got quite the shock. The best part of the video is hearing Harper squealing, "Are you kidding me?" while sister, Raygen, breaks down in tears of joy over the sight of her precious baby sister.

The video, which the family shared on Facebook and Twitter as a birth announcement for the newest member of their family, quickly went viral. The family has received an outpouring of love and well wishes since the video has warmed the hearts of so many.

However, Shane still thinks the biggest fans of the video are Raygen and Harper. "Out of all of those views probably 200 are of our daughters watching it," and adds "If it shines a lot on adoption and encourages other families to step up and be foster parents or adopt, then that's the ultimate win."
