After observing different kids come to school with less than satisfactory lunches, their principal decided to do something about it.

He warned parents in the school's newsletter that some must change their ways.

"In the past few weeks there have been a number of worrying packed lunches brought into school," wrote Principal Jon Carthy in the letter. "Whilst extreme and funny to read on paper, I must make this clear THESE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE examples of a balanced packed lunch."

The newsletter cited examples of unsuitable lunches seen at Byron Primary School in Gillingham, England. They included a cold McDonald's Happy Meal, a bag of chips and a chip sandwich, four yogurts and a packet of candy and one chocolate muffin, one chocolate roll and a chocolate bar.

It also pointed parents to the National Health Service of England's website where they can find guidelines for how to pack their children healthy lunches. Such guidelines include packing fruits, veggies and solid sources of protein while avoiding sugary drinks and treats.

We certainly hope some of these parents can change their ways.
