The Little League World Series brings young players from all over the world together to play baseball on fields in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While most of the pictures that are taken from these games are actions shots of great pitches, catches, and hits, a picture of two boys on their cellphones have captured the hearts of fans all over the world.

At first glance you might assume this picture is of two young players who are engrossed in their phones. Maybe they are playing a game or texting with friends, but the photographer of this picture explains the boys are actually using technology to communicate.

Bob Holtzman, an employee of the MLB Players Association, spotted the two players and snapped the picture. One boy is from South Dakota and the other is from the Dominican Republic, and neither player spoke the same language. So the boys got creative so they could chat. They used Google Translate on their phones to carry out their conversation from English to Spanish and vice versa.

Once Holtzman shared the picture of the two players on social media it quickly went viral. He captioned the photo "The coolest thing I've seen today: players from the DR and South Dakota having a conversation w/ Google translate. #MLBLittleLeagueClassic."

While we are often quick to criticize kids and their overuse of cellphone and tablets, these young boys are using technology the right way. Even though we don't know what their conversations were about, it's probably safe to say they were talking about their love of baseball.
