Christina Torino-Benton was getting married in Montreal when her 9-month old daughter became fussy. The baby had missed her nap, and was getting impatient in the heat. Family members stepped in to try to calm the baby down, but no luck.

Benton knew right then and there what she had to do. She told People.com: "There was no question. I had to nurse, and I wasn't hesitant about it at all."

Luckily, Benton's dress was a strapless, which made things much easier. She nursed for a few minutes, and the baby fell asleep for the rest of the mass.

Moms who have to breastfeed when they're out in public are often subject to harsh criticism and negative attention, so Benton is very proud of the photo, which she says captured a very important part of her motherhood.

"This is something that has become so natural in my life that I didn't even have to think about it," Benton said. "She needed me, so I was there."

The wedding photographer, Lana Nimmons, captured the sweet moment, which Benton then posted in a Facebook Mom's group. The photo has over 8,200 likes and has received nothing but praises.

Benton says: " I thought I would get a couple hundred likes on the breastfeeding group -- I never imagined for a second it would go totally viral! It's really incredible."

Benton's post has received tremendous support on social media. She's inspired other mothers to share their sweet photos of themselves breastfeeding on their wedding day.
