When Bailey Sellers celebrated her 21st birthday, it was a gift from her late father that not only made his "baby girl" smile but has also warmed the hearts of the internet.

In a now viral Twitter post, Sellers told the story of her late father's thoughtful gifts that show up each year on her birthday. In 2013, Mike Sellers died of pancreatic cancer, but before his death, he planned ahead so that his daughter would receive a thoughtful gift from him each year on her birthday until she turned 21. Since her 17th birthday, Bailey has received a bouquet of flowers from her father along with a handwritten note.

"I had no idea I was getting these flowers, whatsoever," Bailey tells PEOPLE. "When I turned 17, I got home one day and I found a bouquet of flowers on the front porch. I had no idea who they were from and I was very surprised."

The most recent and final delivery was for her 21st birthday and the note attached to the gorgeous flowers contained a message that Sellers is holding close to her heart. "My favorite line [in the note], I have it memorized, is 'You will always be my most precious jewel ever given,' " Bailey says. "That really spoke to me."

The Eastern Tennessee University student said this year's gift and birthday card were especially meaningful. "This is my last love letter to you until we meet again," her father wrote in the card. "I do not want you to shed another tear for me my baby girl for I am in a better place." He also told her to always respect her mother and stay true to herself. "Be happy and live life to the fullest," he wrote. "I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I will be."

While she has posted pictures of the flowers each year on social media, she said she is surprised that this year the pictures went viral. Her Twitter post has been retweeted over 375 thousand times and liked over 1.5 million times. "I honestly think that was my dad. He was trying to make my birthday spectacular," she said
