We often talk about the virtues of body positivity, but it's sometimes it's easier said than done when it comes to putting those ideas into practice. Not so for Amy Pence-Brown, who stripped down to her skivvies in a very public market to promote body positivity and acceptance.

The mother of three followed in the footsteps of other body-positivity activists by going into a crowded place, stripping down and encouraging others to support her and her message. The chalkboard she placed in front of herself read:

"I'm standing for anyone who struggled with a self-esteem issue like me, because all bodies are valuable. To support self-acceptance, draw a [heart] on my body."

Pictures on her website, Doin' It All, Idaho-Style, show people took her up on that offer.

She was nervous about how people would respond, but they came through beyond her wildest dreams. From the father who knelt before her and told his two sons "this is what a beautiful woman looks like," to the teenage girls who told her she's a role model and inspiration, to the twenty-something woman who summed it up perfectly when she said: "The effects of what you are doing here are far reaching. It's absolutely amazing. The power of this moment will go on and in ways you never thought possible. You are changing more lives than you know."

This wonderful video captures so many of the great moments of that day. Watch and share!
