Abby Sayles has been receiving chemotherapy treatments for the last several months to treat her Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The 4-year-old has been receiving treatment at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancers in Albany, New York, but Sayles has been almost looking forward to treatment, thanks to the kindness of her favorite pediatric oncology nurse, Matt Hickling.

She loves Hickling so much that she even told him she planned on marrying him. So Hickling decided to set up a mock wedding between himself and young Abby, complete with wedding dress, flowers, and a full run down the aisle. No detail was spared -- other nurses served as bridesmaids, guests were treated to cake, and Hickling donned a tuxedo t-shirt for the ceremony. The "bride" and "groom" exchanged Ring Pops.

"Our patient shyly asked me to marry her," Hickling wrote on his Facebook page. "I didn't hesitate to say yes, I got a HUGE hug and we sealed the deal with ring pops being placed on our fingers. This day will hopefully be one our patient and her family can always look back on and smile when days are tough! I know I will!"

Abby is still attending Melodies for chemotherapy treatment, but at least she and her family knows she's in the best possible hands. And we're thrilled to see everyone rooting for her on the "Amazing Abby" Facebook page.

Let's hear it for awesome nurses, shall we?
