Badasses come in all shapes and sizes -- and all ages. For example, there's Brit granny Joy Lofthouse. Lofthouse served as an Air Transport Auxiliary pilot during World War II. The auxiliary served a vital role in helping to ferry Royal Air Force and Royal Navy planes between factories and maintenance and the front lines. Lofthouse hadn't actually had the opportunity to ride in one of the planes in decades, but at 92 she strapped on a helmet and got back in a plane again. How did it make her feel? "Young again."
