Parents often worry how older siblings will feel once a new baby is added to the family, but for 12-year-old Jacee Dellapena, taking on the role as big sister is off to a great start because she helped to deliver her baby brother and the photos are absolutely amazing.

The Mississippi tween wanted to be in the delivery room when her mother, Dede Carraway was giving birth to her baby brother, but in the moments before her mother started pushing, Jacee began to cry because she was afraid she was too short and would miss seeing the birth. So the doctor stepped up and invited Jacee to "suit up" and help deliver the baby.

"I actually delivered him, he let me actually push down and pull the baby out," Jacee told MS News Now. "I was like, wow. I've played fake doctor before, but this is the real thing, this is the real deal. I was really nervous."

A family friend posted the pictures to Facebook and they immediately went viral with well-wishers telling Jacee just how awesome she helping to deliver her baby brother.

Jacee's mom said that while her epidural was not working during her labor and she was in excruciating pain, seeing her baby deliver her baby was amazing. "Seeing the emotions on her face, it made me cry. I'm about to cry now! It was just a good moment for me," said the new mom.

Baby Cayson Carraway weighed in at 7 lb. 6 oz. and is now at home with his family. For Jacee, she said that when she grows up, she wants to be an obstetrician. Afterall, she already has one birth under her belt.
