When the hospital hands you that blanket-wrapped bundle of joy to take home, it can be surreal to feel like you're suddenly the parent! You're the one responsible for keeping the baby alive and happy--from diaper changes to baby baths to feeding and burping. There's nobody looking over your shoulder to make sure you're doing it right.

The good news is that after the first few months of your baby crash course, you'll have it down to a routine. It just takes time and patience to adjust to your new role, and to figure out what works best for your baby.
