We all know celebrities like to name their children some pretty, um, unique names. From Apple to Suri to North, there seems to be a competition among Hollywood's elite to choose the most out-of-the-ordinary names. In an effort to help you keep tabs on the craziest naming trends, check out the 16 quirkiest celebrity baby names from the past year.

1. Sailor Gene Gardner: Liv Tyler and her boyfriend Dave Gardner welcomed their son early this year.

2. Atlas Norton: Ed Norton and wife Shauna Robertson jumped on the unique name bandwagon.

3. Briar Rose Christensen: OC star Rachel Bilson and her boyfriend Hayden Christensen celebrated their little princess's arrival by naming her after a famous one.
