How to dress to impress even in extreme weather conditions!

Heat and humidity can make it tricky to look cool and chic in the summer months. But it's definitely not impossible! Style expert and Love, Lust or Run host Stacy London spills her style secrets for hotter weather. Here are some of her best tips on how to look your summer best.

1. Accessorize! Summer is supposed to be fun. Add a pop to your outfit with big bold necklaces and mismatched earrings. Lightweight scarves go great with t-shirts, too. Make the most of a simp.e outfit by adding anything-but-simple accessories.

2. Make statements with color. Color affects mood and brings joy -- brighten up your life with bold colors like aqua, magenta and lime green!

3. Make one (or two) simple swaps to go from day to night. If you're going out after work, swap out your professional pumps for some strappy sandals, add a statement necklace or wear a bright lip color, and you're done!

4. Less is more. In extreme heat, wear fabrics that breathe, like cotton and silk.

5. Go easy on the foundation. A lot of makeup isn't always best when things get steamy. Soft makeup with a pink lip is great for a summer day.

6. Focus on showing off one asset. When it comes to skin-baring looks, pick one area to focus on and only one! Showing skin can and should be playful. It's not wrong until there's too much.

7. When in doubt, go white. You can never go wrong with wearing an LWD (little white dress) or floral print. These style trends are forever trends.

8. Always keep your sense of self. Whether you're dressing for a special occasion or a night out on the town, be comfortable in what you're wearing. Style is all about having options and being confident. If you change the way you see yourself, you can change the way you think about yourself, and change the way people see you!
