Let your slow cooker do most of the work for these French dip sandwiches, which start with a 3-4 pound beef roast, a packet of onion soup mix, and a packet of gravy mix. After letting the meat cook all day with the seasonings and broth, you'll be able to shred it just before eating; then broil with cheese on rolls and serve with sauce for dipping. You can also skip the broiling step and instead serve the meat alongside a tray of toasted buns and sliced cheese when it's your turn to host the game-viewing party.
