Oil Pulling

This practice is quickly becoming all the rage in the health and wellness world. It is the act of swooshing around coconut oil in your mouth for 20 minutes. It has proven to help whiten teeth, pull toxins from your body, cure hangovers, aid in digestion, and so many other amazing benefits. Try this every morning for 5 days and you might be converted!

Repost from @dr.arezoubabri WHAT IS IT: An ancient Ayruvedic technique used to "pull" toxins from the body. Many studies have demonstrated the benefit of oil pulling on both oral and systemic health. Meditate and Breathe

Meditation helps us stay present in the moment. When we take time to slow down and focus on our breath, it allows us to slow down and focus in other areas of our everyday life. If you don't believe in mediation, we have already debunked all the myths you probably hear. There are so many ways to meditate that don't involve sitting in silence, so give it a try!

Have Designated Unplugged Time

Everyone is so immune to the content we absorb on a daily basis, that sometimes we don't even realize what it does to our mental health. We think everyone needs to take a break from social media at least once a day in order to truly glow from the inside out. Find a time where you can shut off your phone and be fully present in the moment and you will notice a major change in your mood!

Another terrible time we're having out here ?

Write a "Let Go" List

This one may sound cheesy, but it works! Grab a piece of paper and write out everything that you need to let go of. Often times we aren't glowing from the inside out because we feel insecure and uncomfortable in our bodies. By writing this let go list, you can choose to set free all of your insecurities and resentments that you are holding within. Writing this out will feel like you are lifting a weight off of your shoulders and finally able to love yourself for all your imperfections making giving you a radiant glow!

Dance (like really dance)

Dancing is an instant mood-booster. You don't have to be a great dancer to get down to your favorite song in your room. This might sound like something your younger self would do, but that's the point! Channel your inner-child and dance around your room like no one is watching. The act of doing this can make you feel instantly elated, positive, and confident!

Try Going on Walks (not runs!)

In a world where we are constantly running around, take time to go on walks. Studies show that walking can actually be better than running. During this time, you can listen to an empowering podcast, a great audiobook, or simply just enjoy the sounds of nature. This will become for favorite time of the day!

Have a Bedtime

People aren't lying when they say that we need beauty rest. Sleep is one of the most beneficial things we can do for our bodies, and most of us aren't getting enough of it. Make sleep a priority in your life and set a bedtime that you can stick to every night to ensure you get the rest you need!

Self-care is one of the most important steps to self-love. When we can take care of our mind, body, and soul we can have that youthful, radiant glow that we have always wanted. Try out these self-care tips and we guarantee you won't want to stop!
