A peanut butter and jelly sandwich on wheat bread, a small banana, some strawberries, a few grapes and less than a handful of dried coconut flakes and raisins: too big of a lunch according to one school overseas.

On Mumset, one user who goes by the name "LemonDrizzleDisco" shared with others that her daughter's high school started screening students' packed lunches and told her she had "too much" upon checking it one day.

"[Am I being unreasonable] to think this is unfair?" the mother inquired to her peers.

This teenager is a vegan who can't find many meal options in the school's cafeteria, according to her mom.

Moreover, the school's cafeteria provides things like sausages and mashed potatoes, cake, custard, sandwiches, doughnuts and more, according to the online post.

"That sounds insane," replied one mother to LemonDrizleDisco's story. "That sort of behavior is more likely to do harm than good, isn't it?"

Other mothers like this one chimed in to express their dismay at the actions taken against this student's lunch.
