From the changing of the leaves and Halloween, to all of the pumpkin spice flavored food you could ever ask for, there is no doubt that fall is one of the best seasons of the year. Not too hot and not too cold outside, autumn is the perfect transitional time of the year to diversify one's wardrobe as the seasons are changing. Just like fashion evolves in your everyday street style, so it does within bridal and wedding gown fashion. Therefore, it is my pleasure to share with you some of my favorite fall bridal trends and looks that you can dazzle in for your upcoming fall wedding.

One of the more prominent trends in fall fashion is wonderful florals. In the bridal world this means gowns blooming with romantic rosettes and enchanting floral embellished gowns. I love this grand ball gown worn by my Pnina Bride Carrie Ephraim. The giant rosettes on the skirt of the gown are perfect for any fall wedding and give the gown a look of grandeur.

If you are looking for something a bit more subtle in the floral department, I would suggest going with a gown that has floral embellishments. This elegant floral beaded and embroidered lace sheath gown is an ideal way to incorporate the floral theme into your wedding look.

While the flowers may bloom in the spring, there is something so beautiful and serene about nature in the fall. The colors on the leaves are a mixture of deep and vibrant, and are a wonderful inspiration when it comes to gowns. While most wedding gowns are white, there is no rule saying that your rehearsal dinner gown or even bridesmaid's gowns can't be a rich and beautiful red or purple! If you're having an autumn wedding, this is the ideal time of the year to wear these gorgeous and enchanting colors. Take for instance, these stunning gowns from my Evening Couture line:

Their rich and alluring colors are perfect for the fall season and would have any soon - to - be bride or her bridesmaids looking fabulous for the season.

When I think of bridal gowns in the fall, it would be impossible to not think of the abundance of lovely lace gowns that are so characteristic of the season!

Lace is so versatile and romantic that it comes as no surprise that it is a major trend where wedding gowns are involved. You can have a little bit or a lot of lace, different lace designs, crystal-embellished lace; the options are varying and plentiful. I myself, am particularly fond of this breathtaking lace-embellished ball gown from my Illusion collection:

It looks stunning amongst the colorful leaves and would look radiant upon any fall bride.

A wonderful example of lace in all the right places is this lace-embellished fit and flare gown from my new, affordable line, LOVE by Pnina Tornai.

I love how it trails down the middle of the front and back of the gown enhancing the alluring silhouette of the dress. The floral pattern within the lace is also a wonderful addition to the dress as it softens the look of the gown.

A fabulous fall style I can not get enough of is bridal gowns with sleeves. This trend is ideal for brides that would prefer a bit more coverage on their wedding day. A bride could choose regular sleeves, illusion sleeves, three-quarter sleeves, bell sleeves; the list goes on and on. Since I love to give a bride the option of being covered up but still feeling womanly and sexy on their wedding day, I am a huge fan of illusion sleeves. The long sleeves make the bride feel more traditional while the illusion fabric gives the bride a touch of sexiness and modernity.

Bell sleeves are another lovely option for women opting for a wedding gown with sleeves. Bell sleeves are in themselves a diverse and varying style, which gives brides plenty of options to choose from. These trendy sleeves are not only perfect for the season but they also add great dimension to gowns will simpler silhouettes such as sheath and kaftan styles.

Fall is an amazing time of the year where one's fashion is in transition just like the weather. It's an incredible season for breaking out some familiar wardrobe favorites and perhaps trying some new trends that are blooming onto the fashion scene - both in everyday style and in bridal couture. From floral embroidered dresses to gowns with alluring illusion sleeves, its clear that the only downside to fall is picking from all of your stunning options!
