This mom's son had a meltdown in public, but the ending wasn't a bad one.

This mom named Ashley Holmes took to Facebook to share what one kind stranger who had observed the entire tantrum did to make matters a little bit better; she gave her a bouquet of yellow roses.

"She handed me a beautiful bunch of yellow roses from the store," Holmes wrote on Facebook, "and said 'we thought you deserved these, I hope your day gets better, and please don't be embarrassed, we understand' and gave me a hug!" She was almost brought to tears by this "beautiful" gesture.

Holmes went into detail about what happened in the grocery store that prompted this sweet employee to approach her.

Her 3-year-old son "lost his marbles" and was having a "full blown meltdown" in the middle of the store. Not to mention, her 6-year-old son was with her and she had a cart full of groceries.

"Well, today, I persevered, and thought surely, he would settle down in a minute," she wrote. "Well, he didn't. I quickly made my way to the register, loaded the groceries and dashed to the car."

That is when she noticed a store employee approach her. At first, she thought, "argh, what now?" but the roses the employee handed Holmes indicated she meant no harm.

"I wanted to just show my honest appreciation for that gesture," Holmes concluded her post with. "For the support, and not whispering about my total lack of control over my child."

So sweet.
