Michael Jackson’s Daughter Honors Him with Elaborate Tattoo

Paris Jackson has once again honored her late father with some permanent ink. This time, the tattoo is an elaborate nod to the cover art for his album, "Dangerous."

Her caption includes a quote from her father, plus her own emphasis on the importance of honoring your "roots:"

"The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation." Never forget your roots, and always be proud of where you came from.

The tattoo, which isn't yet complete (her tattoo artist, Justin Lewis of Justin's Dermagraphink Tattoo, posted that there's "one more session to go" on it), emphasizes the legend's striking eyes, as seen on Jackson's 1991 album.

The cover art was composed by American painter Mark Ryden, who was part of the "Lowbrow" (a.k.a. Pop Surrealist) movement. It has a circus-like theme, and features a monkey sitting atop Jackson's eyes. (As you may recall, Jackson was a big fan of simian creatures, such as his own pet chimp, Bubbles.)
