We all love having food on hand for easy meal. However, meal prepping one lunch or dinner for the whole week can get boring. Try meal prepping a few main ingredients and use other items in your fridge and pantry to create delicious, unique meals all week long! Make sure to have staples like tortillas, lettuce, bread and dressing to help you create these recipes. All it takes is a few simple steps to have healthy options in your fridge that you can easily throw together.

Ground Turkey or Chicken

Having a staple protein is an essential to have in your refrigerator. Cooking up ground turkey or chicken is easy and only takes about 10 minutes to prepare. Cook up enough to last you the week and you can throw together delicious recipes like chili, tacos, salads, pasta sauces and more!


 

 

 

Roasted Vegetables

Quinoa

Having a healthy grain is an important part of a balanced plate. Prepping a ton of quinoa will make it easy to throw into all your dishes. You can make quinoa tacos, throw it into your turkey chili, or simply toss it with salads for added protein. You can even make breakfast quinoa to start your day off right! The possibilities are endless!

 

Sometimes oatmeal gets boring...and let's face it, most mornings we don't have enough time to even put lipstick on! Try prepping this cinnamon maple breakfast quinoa before you go to bed and just pop in the microwave for a quick nutritious breakfast. -1/2 cup quinoa -1 cup cold water -1/2 teaspoon cinnamon + more for garnish -splash of vanilla, coconut, or hazelnut extract -milk of your choice, to taste -sugar free or all natural maple syrup, to taste -banana slices or any other fruit/nuts Place quinoa in water and rinse well. Drain quinoa, then stir in 1 cup cold water, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and extract. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir and microwave 3 more minutes. Remove from microwave, cover with foil and sit 2 minutes. Fluff quinoa and stir. Divide between 2 bowls and top with milk, syrup, fruit and cinnamon to taste. Ich habe vor kurzem bei der lieben @kerstintabea_official eine #Quinoa Bowl gesehen und habe direkt Lust bekommen, etwas eigenes zu kreieren. ???Alles aus einem Pott, besser geht's doch gar nicht ?? Das #Rezept ist wirklich super easy: 1? 150g Quinoa im Sieb unter heissem Wasser aussp?len. 2? 1 Brokkoli in R?schen schneiden, 1 S?sskartoffel sch?len und fein w?rfeln. 3? 1 Zwiebel fein hacken und mit 1EL Tomatenmark in ?l anbraten. 4? Brokkoli, S?sskartoffel und Quinoa dazugeben und mit 600ml Gem?sebr?he abl?schen. 5? Einmal hochkochen lassen, dann offen bei mittlerer Hitze k?cheln bis das Wasser vollst?ndig weg ist. 6? Here's the quick #recipe : 1? wash 150g Quinoa under hot water. 2? Cut 1 broccoli and 1 sweet potato as well as 1 onion into cubes. 3? heat 1 Tbsp tomato paste in a bit of olive oil. 4? add broccoli, sweet potato and quinoa as well as 600ml veggie broth. 5? Let cook, then heat until all water is gone. 6? Use salt, pepper and spices of choice. 7?Enjoy adding beetroot, avocado, corn, beans or any other #veggies ?Have a wonderful evening sweeties! ?
