The power of social media is at it's best when it activates social change (and sure, we love videos of giggling babies too). At New York Fashion Week this year we have seen celebrities and fashion brands posting pictures of knots incorporated into their looks, in support of the Knot On My Planet campaign, which calls to end elephant poaching. The initiative is led by model Doutzen Kroes who traveled to Kenya and spent time with these majestic creatures told Vanity Fair "It's really something to worry about. That's why it's so important to do this campaign; we have to raise awareness that ivory should not be a product anymore. It's something that should be looked at that is disgusting. Elephants are being slaughtered just for that, just for their tusks, and just being left. It's such a sad thing to see and to even think about."

The A-list supporters include Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Naomi Campbell and many more who have the power to reach an audience that may (k)not know about the ivory crisis. See how celebs are tying the knot, then post yours to show support #knotonmyplanet!
