Mental Health is an issue that many will face in their lifetime, if not themselves, a loved one and it's something we're constantly learning more about. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by Prince Harry to speak for the organization, Heads Together on World Mental Health Awareness Day. The trio spent time talking to people who have helped others with mental illness, learning effective ways to deal with those affected.

The Duke of Cambridge made sure to make a point that mental health is just as important as physical health, and something we all have.

"Mental health is not a dirty word - we all have mental health like we do physical health, good or ill. But not seeking help at those times when it all seems too much, or we are depressed or anxious, can impact the rest of our lives. Put simply, the three of us want to make asking for help no longer a big deal."

The Duchess of Cambridge echoed William's sentiments that more needs to be done to do away with the stigma of mental health so that people feel comfortable talking about it and eventually tackling it.

"We want to encourage people to talk to one another."

Finally Prince Harry pointed out that many times it's easy to confuse mental health as something that happens to someone else, but throughout life, we all have points where it can happen to us, and we should feel ok expressing that.

"Too often we think mental health problems are things that happen to other people, not us.

But we will all experience pressure on our mental health at some point during our lives. The more we accept that, the better we can help each other. Catching it and recognizing it early, saves lives."
