For the first time in forever, Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the "Frozen" gang will be taking on a new stage -- Broadway. The wildly successful 2013 animated film is being adapted into a musical that start its run in New York City in the spring of 2018. So for the "Frozen" fans in your life (aka all those under 10) that know the words to every song and are still wearing their Anna and Elsa costumes, here's what they need to know about "Frozen" coming to Broadway.

Expect new songs for the musical version. Oscar-winning songwriters Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who also wrote the music for the film, are writing more songs to join the already popular "Frozen" soundtrack.

It may be coming to your city. While pre-production on the new musical has already started, "Frozen" the musical will being running a developmental production in other cities as early as summer of 2017 (a Denver debut is rumored to be in the offing) in order to prepare for its Broadway debut in 2018. So keep an eye out to see if it's coming to your town, and you could catch an early version of the show.

No stars are attached. There is still no word if the vocal powerhouses Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, who voiced Anna and Elsa in the original film, will reprise their roles when "Frozen" hits Broadway, but all "Frozen" fans can hope, right?
