Jennifer Garner Posts the Most Relatable Exhausted, Makeup-Free ‘Yes Day’ Selfie

We are used to seeing Jennifer Garner with a full face of makeup and looking stunning on the red carpet or at a movie premiere. However, it's her makeup-less selfie and need for more sleep that has every mom saying "Girl, we know exactly how you feel."

The actress, who has three children, 11-year-old Violet, 8-year-old Seraphina and 5-year-old Samuel, posted a selfie to her Instagram account where, even though she looked completely exhausted, her eyebrows still look amazing, right?

Garner captioned the photo "You'll never need coffee more than the day after 'Yes Day!'"

So what is "Yes Day" and why has it left her needing caffeine and a nap? According to Garner, her adventures with her kids was inspired by a "fantastic children's book" called Yes Day! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. In the book, kids get one day out of the year where they get to call the shots and parents have to say "Yes!" So ice cream for breakfast--yes! Cake for lunch- yes! Long naps and quiet time with a good book--well, that is what I would ask for, but you get the idea.

Garner and her kids have celebrated "Yes Day!" for five years, and in honor of this year's celebration, her kids requested a sleepover inside a tent--hence her need for lots of coffee the next morning.

I don't know about you, but I really love the idea of having an annual "Yes Day" for my kids. Most days, I feel like all I do is say no to my kids. It could a really fun tradition--not only for my kiddos but for me too. However, I'll just to prepare for the lack of sleep and overdoses of sugar before we make "Yes Day" official in our house.

If your kids had a "Yes Day" what do you think they would ask for?
