Breastmilk heals.
If you are a breastfeeding mom and your baby has a bad scratch on their face (as most newborns do) dab a bit of breastmilk on it. It will clear up in no time! ?

Gripe water (an OTC liquid that contains sodium bicarbonate and herbs) saved my life on so many occasions. If your baby has hiccups that prevent them from falling asleep, or they're crying out from stomach has pain, try gripe water! It instantly works and your little babe will feel so much better!

Have a plan
: One thing that keeps our incredibly busy family going is a very specific plan during the week. We get up at the same time and do everything in the same order each day. Basically, we know that a very clear schedule keeps the students at our preschool from transition meltdowns and so we apply the same principle to ourselves. Let's face it, no matter what your age, no one likes a messy transition!

Be willing to break your plan: No matter how much you plan, you can never predict that enormous blowout 5 minutes into your road trip. Be flexible at all times.

Don't be too hard on yourself.
All parents make mistakes.

Know that you are your child's biggest hero!

Take everyone's advice with a grain of salt
. Always go with your gut instinct for your own child. No one knows your child like you do and you have your parental instincts for a reason. Listen to them.

Have faith! Have faith in God. Have faith in yourself. Everything works out!
