Taking a toddler on an airplane is stressful enough in the best of circumstances -- but if you're a pregnant mom traveling without another adult, it can feel even more overwhelming. Monica Nelson was flying from Minneapolis to Atlanta with her son Luke, 20 months, when he started to fuss. The passenger sitting next to Nelson spoke up, but instead of requesting that Nelson keep her son quiet, he volunteered to walk around with Luke until the child calmed down.

"It was such a relief because I was a little worried traveling with him without my husband there to help out," Nelson told TODAY. "I'm still very grateful -- he was so kind."

Andrea Byrd, another passenger on the flight, took a photo of the man's good deed and posted it to Facebook. "He did not complain," she wrote in the caption, "he just told her that he was a DAD, and wanted to help her so she could rest...I was in tears...not because he was white and she was black...but because it shows me today that there are still GOOD people out there in a world full of turmoil."
