What is better than coming home to a delicious pot of chili? What if this chili was also cheap, healthy and required minimal effort? This may sound too good to be true, however, we have the perfect recipe to get you through the cold winter months. Just fifteen extra minutes in the morning will allow you to come home to a great meal that the whole family will love! Making this recipe for one? No worries! The chili makes great leftovers and will only be better the next day. Whether you're serving yourself or a crowd, this is sure to be a hit. Enjoy!

You Will Need:

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cans mixed beans (15 oz)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
  • 3-4 cups chicken broth (depending on desired thickness)
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 red peppers
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Directions:
Start your chili by dicing a white onion and cooking in a pan until onion becomes translucent. Once onions are starting to brown, add diced garlic and ground turkey. Cook for approximately 5 minutes until the turkey is cooked through and slightly golden brown. Add the cooked turkey, onions and garlic to the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients.
