Kids Menu

Parents are always on the hunt for family friendly restaurants that have a patient staff that won't stress over a few French fries on the floor. It is also helpful if the restaurant owners have a sense of humor, much like the owners of Fager's Island, a seafood restaurant located in Ocean City, MD. If you check out Fager's Island's kids menu, you'll find all of the usual kid-friendly meals are available but with very different names. Rather than just choosing an item to eat, parents are encouraged to order based on their child's response to the question "What do you want to eat?"

So if your child answer with "I don't know" then they can order up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. If your kids are feeling more like an "I don't want that," then it's a basket of chicken tenders for them.

A Reddit user posted a picture of the menu and the internet is laughing right along with everyone that has ever taken their kids out to eat and heard those popular responses.

So, where did these cheeky names come from? John Fager is the owner of Fager's Island told NBC News he actually got the idea for from his 4 year-old daughter, Malorie. Now we are wondering what they call an ice cream sundae. Maybe "I'll have that, please."
