Turn dollar store mirrors into creative menu displays and signs. Start by spray painting the frame a color that coordinates with your wedding or a classic gold or silver. Then paint only the mirror with chalkboard paint. Grab some chalk and write the bar menu, table seating, or even directions to the reception on the chalk board. Your guests will love this creative and personal touch.

Create a personalized picture backdrop that is also chic wedding d?cor by grabbing a white bed sheet or curtains from the dollar store and find a friend or family member that has beautiful handwriting to write your vows or quotes about love across the sheet. Hang the sheet on decorative rope at your reception and surround by flowers for a creative wedding touch.

If you have an outdoor wedding, small paper lunch bags and flameless candles make beautiful lanterns. You could line the aisle you'll walk down or create a path to your reception area with these DIY lanterns.

You don't need expensive chandeliers at your wedding venue when you can hack your own. Start with a hula hoop--yes a child's hula hoop. Spray paint the hoop a neutral color and wrap the hoop with greenery, flowers, and top it off with twinkle lights or icicle lights. Suspend the hula hoop above tables, outside, or the dance floor for instant and fabulous lighting.

Make your own signs to hold table numbers by gluing small frames to short candle sticks. Spray paint them wedding coordinating colors and add the table numbers for this creative accent.

Create beautiful centerpieces that look like you paid a small fortune for seaglass vases and candle sticks with this hack. Start by buying clear glass vases and candles sticks from the dollar store. Then mix white glue with a couple of drops of food coloring. Finish by painting the glass with the glue and food color mixture for a seaglass effect. Try adding multiple vases and candle sticks in varying heights for your centerpieces or group like sizes for a different effect.

Create the perfect romantic wedding ambiance by wrapping pillars or trees with dollar store Christmas lights.
