TLC's intense three-part special, Chandra Levy: An American Murder Mystery, asks the question that has plagued our nation for over a decade - who killed Chandra Levy?

Back in May 2001, an ambitious and charming 24-year-old intern, in the prime of her life, vanished without a trace. The investigation that followed revealed a tale of political intrigue that reached the highest levels of office. This special dives into the sex, lies and scandal behind one of our nation's most salacious crimes and takes the public down an emotional journey into the seedy underbelly of the D.C. elite.

Let's take a look at some of the key players at the center of one of the most harrowing cases in recent history.
  • Gary Condit: A prominent Congressman at the time of the murder, who allegedly had an affair with the victim. A mysterious voicemail left by Condit on Chandra's phone incited a media frenzy and made him the prime suspect in the public's eyes.
  • Ingmar Guandique: An illegal immigrant from El Salvador who was involved in the attack of two female joggers in Rock Creek Park around the time of the murder. Due to similarities in the attacks and a tip from an informant, he became the prime suspect in Chandra Levy's murder.
  • Armando Morales: An inmate at the same prison as Ingmar Guandique who became a key informant in the case against him.
  • Chandra Levy's Aunt: She publicly and passionately questioned Congressman Condit's involvement, claiming that Chandra had confided in her about their affair.
  • Robert and Susan Levy: Chandra's parents ran a parallel investigation alongside police after the disappearance of their only daughter. It was during their search that they discovered the voicemail left by Condit and brought the media's attention to the tragic case.
